Loren Loubser is a queer actor, filmmaker, documentarian, facilitator and now trained Intimacy Coordinator. 

As an actor, Loren can be seen on Showmax starring in No Hiding Here, Nativity, and High Fantasy (for which Loren shared a writer credit as well), and on Acorn TV in Both Worlds' Recipe's for Love and Murder, and a recent return to theatre saw Loren starring in Athol Fugard's new play: Concerning The Life of Babyboy Kleintjies directed by Fugard himself. 

Loren's directorial debut, Removed, was one of the most watched short films at Durban International Film Festival 2021 resulting in Loren's appointment as a programmer for the festival in 2022. 

At present, Loren is developing a daringly queer, sex positive feature film with support from the NFVF amidst co-directing a yearly incubator offering mentorships and upskilling for young queer screenwriters and filmmakers of colour to write and work in the South African film and tv industry. 

Loren is also a director of Femmeprojects, a fully Queer, POC Non-Profit that focuses on comprehensive sexual education, consent, rights, reproductive health, gender identity and empowerment of youth and young adults.

Additionally Loren has a focus on facilitating consent, pleasure & power play workshops for adults, Loren has also attended a few rope play classes and has experience counselling.
